Q. How is Kagawa International different from other international business consulting firms?

A. Most consulting companies are generalists and provide a broad overview of imports and exports. Kagawa International is specialized in the area of exports with a concentration on the Japanese market. Q. Aren't consulting firms expensive?

A. Considering that an export manager or international sales representative will cost a company about $150,000 per year with salary, benefits and travel, the fee charged by Kagawa International is minimal. By using Kagawa International as your export consultant, your firm will not only have the export structure needed, but will be better able to select a quality individual to run the export operations. Most importantly, top management will have a solid understanding towards international business.

Q. How long is the consulting period?

A. Normally, Kagawa International will travel to the client's facility and meet with key personnel over a one-week period. Then we return back to our office to perform the market research for your company. During this time Kagawa International continues to communicate with the client. After 3 - 5 weeks, we return to the client's facility to review the export marketing plan. Kagawa International then provides the customer with three months of support services free of charge. After three months, a nominal fee can be paid to maintain support services.

Q. Our company is very busy and cannot afford to take days off at a time to learn about exports. Can you work around this?

A. Absolutely! Kagawa International understands the busy schedules of our clients. For this reason, we travel to your facility and meet with numerous people over the course of one week. It will take time to learn and become comfortable with exports. This is why we will not place people in a seminar setting. Instead, we will work one on one with your staff to ensure full comprehension of the topics step by step.

Q. We are already involved in exports but are not sure if we are doing things correctly. Can Kagawa International help?

A. Yes! Kagawa International can assess your company and advise you of the things that are being done correctly as well as areas that need improvement. We will advise on how to make changes and educate your staff in areas that may have been previously overlooked.
